Who we are

Goodlane Logistics LLC (“Goodlane,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is a licensed freight brokerage and a wholly owned subsidiary of Bright Wagon Inc. Goodlane Logistics LLC is the entity responsible for the information described in this policy. This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.

Who this policy covers

This policy applies to information we collect through goodlanelogistics.com, through our phone and text messaging systems, through email, and in the course of arranging freight for our customers and working with motor carriers. It applies to visitors to our website, to personnel at the carriers and shippers we do business with, and to drivers moving loads we have arranged.

It does not cover the independent privacy practices of third-party sites or services we link to, including scheduling and load board platforms.

Information we collect

Business and contact information. Name, job title, company name, business email address, and business phone and mobile number.

Carrier qualification information. USDOT and MC numbers, operating authority status, insurance coverage, safety and inspection records obtained from public and commercial sources, and tax identification information provided so that we can issue payment.

Shipment information. Pickup and delivery details, appointment times, commodity and equipment information, shipment documents, and in-transit status and location updates for loads we have arranged.

Communications. The content of emails, text messages, and support requests you send us.

Website and device information. IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, and referring page, collected automatically when you visit our site.

We do not intentionally collect Social Security numbers from individuals, government identification documents, biometric identifiers, health information, or precise consumer geolocation from members of the general public.

How we use information

We use personal information to:

• arrange, book, dispatch, track, and settle freight shipments
• qualify motor carriers and confirm operating authority, insurance, and safety standing
• prevent fraud, including identity and double-brokering fraud
• communicate with carriers, drivers, shippers, and business contacts about loads, appointments, documents, and payments
• process invoices and issue payment
• provide customer and carrier support
• operate, secure, and improve our website and systems
• comply with federal and state transportation, tax, and recordkeeping obligations

SMS opt-in and consent

Goodlane Logistics posts available loads on the DAT load board and other public load boards. Each posting lists Goodlane contact information. A carrier that texts, calls, or emails us using that contact information is opting in to receive text messages from Goodlane Logistics about loads, dispatch, tracking, documents, and payments. Carriers may also provide a mobile number and give consent to be texted during carrier onboarding or in the course of a phone call with our team.

Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of doing business with Goodlane Logistics. A carrier who does not want to receive text messages can tell us at any time, or reply STOP to any message.

SMS and text messaging

Goodlane Logistics sends text messages to motor carriers and drivers. Messages relate to load and rate discussions, dispatch and appointment coordination, tracking and check-call requests, document requests, and invoice and payment status. We do not send marketing or promotional text messages.

Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any message to opt out of further messages. Reply HELP for assistance, or contact us at hello@goodlanelogistics.com. Messages are not supported by all mobile carriers, and we are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third parties. Mobile numbers and consent records are shared only with the telephony and messaging providers that deliver our messages, and those providers are contractually prohibited from using that information for any purpose other than delivering the message on our behalf.

All other categories of personal information remain subject to the sharing described in How we share information.

How we share information

We share personal information with:

Customers and carriers, as required to move the freight. Carrier and driver contact information is shared with the shipper or receiver when needed for pickup, delivery, or facility access. Shipper and facility contact information is shared with the carrier moving the load.

Service providers acting on our behalf. These include our transportation management system, carrier vetting and fraud prevention services, load tracking and visibility providers, telephony and messaging providers, payment and factoring platforms, cargo insurance providers, and cloud hosting vendors. They are permitted to use the information only to provide services to us.

Insurers, auditors, and professional advisors in connection with claims, coverage, and compliance.

Government agencies and law enforcement where required by law, subpoena, or other legal process, or to protect our rights, safety, or property.

A successor entity in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share personal information with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

How long we keep information

We keep personal information for as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy and to meet our legal, tax, insurance, and recordkeeping obligations. Shipment and transactional records are generally retained for at least the period required by federal transportation and tax regulations.

Security

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information, including access controls, encryption in transit, and vendor security review. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your choices and rights

You may:

• opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP
• unsubscribe from any non-transactional email using the link in the message
• ask us to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you
• ask us how we have shared your information

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under state privacy law, including the right to know, delete, correct, and to opt out of sale or sharing. We do not sell personal information. To make a request, email hello@goodlanelogistics.com. We will verify your request before acting on it and will not discriminate against you for making one.

Children

Our services are directed to businesses, not to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the revised version here and update the published date above. Material changes will be communicated where required by law.
